A boyfriend and his girlfriend who prepared cannabis ice-cream were left hallucinating after one of them ended up running around outside their home naked and the other was so concerned about the state of their mental health that she called police, reports UK Mirror.
The anonymous couple had gone on a weekend break to a cottage in the remote west Iceland town of Borgarbyggð and decided to try out the special recipe.
One of the couple had downloaded manual off the internet of how to make hash ice cream and after arriving at the cottage, they began making the intoxicating dessert.
Shortly after consuming the frozen treat, the man stripped naked and started running around outside suffering hallucinations.
According to Icelandic police report, the girlfriend also became very ill and quickly called the emergency services, after becoming worried about both their mental health.
After officers arrived at the cottage, the cannabis chefs were taken to hospital for treatment and observation.
After they were declared fit by doctors, the couple were driven back to their parents’ homes ,as the cops did not feel ‘“it was a good idea for them to be alone now”.
Icelandic police reeled out details of the event on their Facebook page, where they said the remainder of the ice cream had been seized by investigators.
The police stated that, this example indicates that people should b mindful in believing everything on the internet and to take care with all drugs, no matter in what form they appear.”
