Heavily armed robbers attacks Banks in Ondo, kills several people

Reports emanating from several media outlets says four commercial banks in Owo town, Ondo state were attacked by heavily armed robbers numbering about 10 yesterday. The heavily armed robbers reportedly entered Owo town through Abuja-Owo road. They were fully dressed in military uniform, fully armed and later blocked all major roads. Eyewitnesses stated that a few people were killed while others were injured during the attack. 

A bank manager and a bank staff were among those killed. The bank manager was reported to have been struggling with the armed robbers when he was shot dead. One of the robbers was also captured and set ablaze immediately.
