Woman uses bacteria from her own V*gina to concoct bizarre dessert... then EATS it

A female scientist decided to make yogurt from her own vagina and then ate it as a part of a bizarre experiment.

A PhD student of University of Wisconsin Cecilia Westbrook made two batches of her very own natural yogurt after stumbling upon a cookbook documenting recipes using sperm, but was unable to find a female equivalent.

Ms Westbrook stated that: "In a way, it’s so apparent. Its like, of course you can make yogurt out of your natural flora. But who would even think to do it?

"And of course the feminist inside me wants to reel out something about how there’s a beauty in connecting your body to your food and exploring the power that your vagina has.''

"Part of that is a kind of mystical hippie thing, but part of it is also just being comfortable with your own body, especially in a culture that is so uncomfortable with women’s bodies."

She concocted the yogurt overnight, with the aid of a wooden spoon used to collect her ingredients, and fermenting it in a dish.

When she woke in the morning, she ate the sample with blueberries, stating that it tasted like Indian yogurt.

Her rather bizarre journey was documented by a close friend Janet Jay.

Mrs Jay stated that: "Every vagina is nest to hundreds of different types of bacteria and organisms.

"The dominant bacteria of them all is called lactobacillus, which coincidentally happens to be what people sometimes use to culture milk, cheese, and yogurt."

After carrying out the bizarre experiment however, the pair consulted Larry Forney, a microbiologist at the University of Idaho, who warned them that it was a bad idea.

He warned them that by carrying out this experiment, you ‘could end up with a bad batch’ because there are far more bacteria in a vagina like lactobacilli, leaving room for things to go wrong.

So what do you think? bizarre right?  don't try this at home and leave your comment
