Graphic pictures: Dead body of rape victim discovered in Imo community

A naked corpse of a lady was found a day after Valentine's day on 15th Feb. at Okwu village in Umunneato autonomous community in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.

The naked corpse had bruises all over it, most especially around the breasts and private parts, making residents suspect that she was brutally raped and murdered. The identity of the lady or her age is still unknown. The residents who found her body called the police who came to remove the corpse.

A resident who saw her body told reporters "I am not sure that it was a case of ritual killing because no body part of the girl was missing. It looks to me, a case of brutal gang-raping to death of the unfortunate girl.” 

The corpse of the girl had been moved to the morgue of Aboh Mbaise General Hospital.
